The Spencer is a nine-storey, custom condominium project currently under construction for EQ Homes. The 116,890 sq. ft. project, being developed in partnership with Hobin Architects, will feature 85 condominium units atop three levels of underground parking.
The project is located directly alongside Greystone Village, a large redevelopment of the former Oblate lands, and an exciting mixed-use master-planned community that radically transforms Old Ottawa East. The master plan provides a variety of housing types and tenancies with up to 950 homes distributed throughout a street layout drawn from the surrounding community. Its narrow street cross-section directs resident parking to rear laneways, freeing the streetscape to become landscape-enriched and animated.
A continuation of Morley Hoppner's earlier work on the first and second phases of the Greystone Village River Terraces project, the Spencer is being delivered under a construction management contract, and our team has provided an extensive range of preconstruction and construction services to the client.
