Highbury Gate at Greenbank is a commercial retail plaza, featuring more than 42,000 sq. ft. of retail space, completed by Morley Hoppner in 2020. The plaza features multiple commercial retail and fast food buildings on the site, situated along Highbury Park Drive in Barrhaven. The plaza provides a diverse mix of retail opportunities to residents of this suburban area, which has continued to experience significant and rapid growth in recent years.
Morely Hoppner was hired on a construction management contract for the development, providing a range of preconstruction and construction services for the client, Huntington Properties. As part of the contract, our team led the construction of two, multi-unit CRU buildings: a single-story, general retail building featuring a mix of commercial tenant spaces, and a two-storey commercial building featuring a mix of ground- and second-floor spaces with general retail and office opportunities.
