Greystone Village is the redevelopment of the former Oblate lands, and an exciting mixed-use master-planned community intended to help radically transform Old Ottawa East. The master plan provides a variety of housing types and tenancies with up to 950 homes distributed throughout a street layout drawn from the surrounding community. Its narrow street cross-section directs resident parking to rear laneways, freeing the streetscape to become landscape-enriched and animated.
Morley Hoppner was hired by EQ Homes under a construction management contract to provide both preconstruction and construction services for River Terraces, a multi-phase condominium project featuring more than 340,000 sq. ft. of space across two nine-storey buildings. The development includes a variety of common areas, amenities, and parking. Together, the two phases of Greystone Village offer a total of 212 units ranging in size from 377 to 1,379 sq. ft. Phase 1 included 178,000 sq. ft. and 106 residential units, while Phase 2 added another 106 units and 164,000 sq. ft.
