The City of Ottawa selected our team, consisting of Morley Hoppner, CB Richard Ellis, and the Ottawa Senators, as their partner for one of Ottawa’s first Public-Private Partnerships (P3). Our team was responsible for acquiring the land necessary for the project, as well as the design, construction and financing for a four-pad arena and indoor soccer field and the amenities required to support the facility.
The two-storey, 180,000 sq. ft. project was completed with great success, winning several awards, including a City of Ottawa Accessibility by Design Award, a Peter J. Marshall Innovative Award, and a Top Recreational Project - Behlen Industries Design Build Award.
